I have had this little bunny planter forever, I honestly don't even remember where I got it but I love it! This year I decided to get alot of different kinds of flowers to arrange in it and this is what I came up with
Simple yet...beautiful.

Me, me Monday, Bathroom edition...
Seriously, when we moved into this little cottage our bathroom was interesting to say the very least. I wish I had taken before pictures but I hope you are able to use your imagination when I tell you about our only bathroom (there is a toilet in the laundry room, but thats another blog). It is actually a decent size room but as most of you know back in the 50's, when this house was built, storage space was not the most important thing, so I haven't got a linen closet to speak of. The walls were done like the ones in the dining room were, painted purple with white and burgandy squiggly lines all over them that looked like worms and kind of a western border. UGLY! I am not kidding if I didn't have a vision for this place I would have gone running. We decided the only way to remedy was to do this:
Gut it!
Tear it to the beams!
Here it is after:
From the door going in -
Shower area -
Vanity and storage solution -
I adore my border, it seriously took me a month to find the perfect one -
This mirror is gorgeous -
I think the style of this clock is perfect for this space -
And last but not least my favorite - My Grandma Gibson had these prints framed for me when she was alive, they are very old and she had quite a selection for me to choose from, but when she started telling me how cute she thought this little set was and that it was her favorite I knew that I would think of her and that conversation every time I looked at them and I love and treasure them so much -
Aren't they sweet?
Well, thank you for visiting my little bathroom, I hope you felt as relaxed as I do in here.

Blog 2.. Fun Friday Finds..
I am finding that I love white stuff, all kinds of white stuff, which isn't great when you have 4 doglets. However, they can't dirty up some of the white pieces I am finding, like this gorgeous little bird.
She is my new fav! She is so beautiful and she is solid! I really just love her!
And then there is this little piece:
It is a little bit bigger than a creamer and so pretty.
I found these two lovelies and I am wondering if anyone knows anything about them, are they collectable? Either way they are blue (which is my truest love of colors)and so sweet.
And finally my jacket:
This is another classic piece and it cost me a whopping $2.50, crazy!
Have a super weekend!

1 of 2 posts for today- Treasure Box...
I have 2 posts for today, I was hoping to have this one done yesterday but life got in the way a bit so here it is today.
I love treasures, and I love treasure boxes. I am the type of person that when I see an unusual box I try to figure out a way to reuse it. This little beauty started with this:
Cool little box, 4 different patterns of scrapbook paper, Krylon pink spray paint, Martha Stewart Modge Podge, Elmers glue (2 kinds), ribbon, buttons and a trinket, whew, that was a mouth full!
Here we are in process:
First I cut the paper to fit the box, then I sprayed glue on the back and placed the paper on the box.
Then I modge podged it so that it would stay on forever and glued the stubborn pieces with Elmers. I Put holes in the top for the bow so it has a little handle.
After decorating it, this is what I came up with:
Isn't it cute?!
Here is the inside:
And here are some close-ups:
(Sorry the quality of some of the pics is less than ideal, but I wanted you to see as much as you could, hopefully someday I will get a better camera).
So what do you think? I hope you like my little treasure box because I think it might be filled with some fun treasures as part as my 100 readers giveaway that will hopefully be coming up soon!
I will be linking to Patches of Pink for her link up party so please stay tuned over there and if you like my Cute Little Treasure Box, vote for it when the voting opens! Also linking to Kojo Designs another great blog!

Thursday Love...My little Brothers!!..
I am the only girl in my family and I am the oldest. When my bio mom and dad divorced, my dad took custody and my mother kind of disappeared. My dad remarried when I was 8 so, she has always been "Mom". Well bio Mom (Nancy) had two boys, I met Jeffrey when he was 1 but I never met Casey. Well, with the wonders of technology I have suddenly found my little brothers on facebook!! My feelings and emotions are so confused. I am so happy, so scared and mostly at a loss of what to do. Of course, I want to meet them, but how does this all work. I have suddenly gone from 3 little brothers to five! Actually, how fun does that sound?! I love the brothers I know so much, that I can't wait to meet the others!!
Here are pics of the three oldest:
This is Ryan, he the youngest of those I was raised with, he is a typical baby of the family, SPOILED!! We all did it and pretty much still do!
This is Steven he is a typical middle child, I am sure he felt lost in the middle sometimes, isn't he cute?
This is Robert he is 3 months older than Steven, so handsome! (interesting pic?!)
I can't post the others until I know them and know that they would be okay but watch for it, hopefully in the near future!
Until later,
Hugs,
Shelly

A couple things I have made
When I first decided to try my hand at crafting and long before I knew anything about blogging, I decided to make this for my family picture wall. I made it from a glass cabinet door that I painted white and a saying that I bought at the Quilted Bear. It really looks awesome with all our little family picutres around it.
Then I made this one with the other door. It is such a pretty color of blue, so of course, being that any blue is my favorite, I really like this one too!
So sorry for the picture quality, like I said I made these and took the pics before I became such a famous blogger!! Haha, LOL!!

Me, Me Monday -My Back Yard!!
I decided that if I can't get Spring for real, then I will get it with memories! This is my backyard, it is where we spend most of our time in the Spring, Summer and Fall.
This from the back looking towards the house.
This is looking from theVeranda patio, isn't it peaceful?
Three of the grandkidlets in the hammock, adorable!
My nephew in the tire swing, I haven't seen this little guy in 2 years! I miss him so much!
Well hopefully, that brings a little sunshine to those of you who like me, don't have it yet!
Until later,
Hugs,
Shelly

Saturday Silly...
The Hubster is a Stay-at-home hubby since he had surgery on his back and they told him he was disabled. Lately, he has been doing things around the house that he has never done before, i.e., dishes, mopping, dusting. Well, I came home one night and much to my delight I could see the floor of the Laudry Room, he had been doing laundry, so to be helpful I decided to put the load that was in the washer into the dryer and this is what I found!
There are rugs, towels, socks, shirts -you name it, its in there! I just shut the lid and left it! Gotta love and appreciate the effort! LOL!!
Until later,
